Ee Rong Song

Ee Rong is the General Counsel at Bintang Capital Partners and a member of the firm’s InvestmentCommittee, where he oversees legal, compliance, and risk management functions. He works closely with the Investments team on structuring and negotiating investments and exits, and playsa key role in advancing Bintang’s impact strategy as part of the firm’s ESG committee,collaborating with the Investments, Portfolio Management, and Investor Relations teams. Prior to joining Bintang, Ee Rong practised law at Wong & Partners, a member firm of Baker McKenzie International, specialising in cross-border M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions across Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Bristol and was called to the Malaysian Bar in September 2015.
