Anushka Purohit and her peers from HKUST have developed Breer, a locally produced craft beer made from surplus bread. Her company is pioneering sustainable drinking in Hong Kong, tackling food wastage by preventing over 16,000 kg of leftover bread from going to waste. Through her innovative product, she has encouraged people to rethink their consumption choices and look for opportunities to make a difference, no matter how big or small.
