- Firstly, identify DE&I issues that are material and relatable or meaningful to employees as well as other critical stakeholders of the organisation e.g. top spend suppliers.
- Raise awareness on DE&I principles and policy through structured and targeted engagement sessions
- Integrate DE&I principles into key contracts that bind employees and suppliers
- Strengthen DE&I policy by defining a clear approach, focus areas – based on material DE&I issues for the organization/sector, and measures.
- Reinforce and celebrate progress
- Ensure such entrepreneurs understand the basics of sustainable business – Efficiency and Equity being two critical and fundamental principles
- Explore if there are environmental, social, governance aspects that can potentially contribute to economic success or people performance, integrate them into the business model
