From my experience, one of the biggest challenges is shifting ESG from being seen as a “cost” to being understood as a driver of value. Companies often struggle with fragmented data, lack of leadership buy‑in, and competing priorities. Success comes when ESG is tied to business outcomes like efficiency gains, investor confidence, and stronger reputation supported by clear frameworks, measurable KPIs, and credible certifications.
